Information on Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy includes information about the purpose and basis of processing your personal data in connection with your use of the www.ir.oponeo.pl/en website

The Privacy Policy consists of four parts:

  • part I explains the terms used in the Privacy Policy and contact information;
  • part II indicates your rights;
  • part III includes detailed information on processing of your personal data; we have provided information separately for each processing operation;
  • part IV includes information about the cookies we use on the website

Part I. General provisions

§ 1. Data Controller

§ 2. Terms used in the Privacy Policy

If you notice one of the following terms capitalised in the following section of our Privacy Policy, it has the following meaning:

  • „Service” - a website belonging to the Data Controller that presents information about the Data Controller relevant to investors and analysts, available at www.ir.oponeo.pl/en;
  • „Policy” - shall mean this document, the Privacy Policy, which you are reading;
  • „GDPR” - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.   • „Company” - Oponeo.PL S.A. based in Bydgoszcz.

§ 3. Securing personal data

  • We process all personal data that you provide on the Website or that we collect about you when you use the Website as the Data Controller in accordance with the GDPR.
  • The Administrator uses technical measures required by current data protection regulations to prevent unauthorized persons from obtaining and modifying personal data sent electronically, i.e. within our Service.
  • The Administrator points out that the dangers associated with the use of the Service are malware, spyware, phishing by impersonating trustworthy entities (so-called phishing), hacking activities aimed at breaking into ICT systems.

§ 4. Your rights concerning your personal data

  • We process your personal data, so:
    • you have the right to access your personal data,
    • you may rectify them,
    • you may request the deletion of your personal data when GDPR allows to do so,
    • you have the right to restrict processing, to the extent set out in the GDPR.

§ 5. Right of objection

  • If you provide us with your personal data or if we collect it ourselves, you may exercise your right to object. You have the right to object in two situations – when we process your personal data:
    • for direct marketing purposes; you do not have to justify such an objection;
    • on the basis of our other legitimate interests; such an objection needs to be justified by your particular situation. Write to us and explain why we should not process your data

§ 6. Lodging a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection

If you believe that we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Poland, it is the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data and their website is available at the following address https://uodo.gov.pl/

Part III. Information related to the processing of your personal data in particular processing operations

§ 7. Contact us via e-mail or phone number

If you use these options to contact us, please note the following:

  • Why do we need your data, i.e. for what purpose do we process it?

    To respond to your message and resolve the issue you have presented.

  • What are your rights?

    These are described in Sections 4 and 5 of the Policy.

  • Do you have to provide us with your details?

    This is voluntary, but without your contact details we may not be able to resolve the case you have presented.

  • What is the legal basis used to process your data?

    Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, i.e. our legitimate interest.

  • What is our legitimate interest?

    Resolving the issue you have presented and responding to your message.

  • Who will we pass your personal data to?

    - entities that provide tools to support various communication channels.

  • How long will we process your data?

    For the time it takes to resolve the issue you have presented. Depending on its type, also for the time it takes to prove that we have resolved it, i.e. the statute of limitations for claims.

  • Will we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area?

    No.

IV. Information on cookies

§ 8. What are cookies and why do we use them

  • We use cookies on the Website, which are small textual information stored on your terminal device (e.g. a computer, tablet, smartphone). Cookies can be read by the Website and are primarily used to optimise the use of the website and to collect statistical data.
  • We store cookies on your computer, phone or tablet and then access the information contained in them for the following purposes:
    • to ensure the proper operation of the Website, including managing your session,
    • to ensure the security and reliability of the Website.
  • The processing of your personal data may take place in the cases described in section 2
    • we process them pursuant to the necessity for the performance of the contract, i.e. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
    • we have presented your rights in relation to this processing in Sections 4 and 5 of the Policy;
    • the provision of personal data processed by means of so-called essential cookies is necessary.
  • In the cases described in the provision of section 2, cookies are used on the basis of Article 399(3) of the Electronic Communications Law.

§ 9. Types of cookie files

  • There are several types of cookie files on the Website:
    • session cookies, which remain in the memory of your web browser until you switch it off,
    • persistent cookies, which remain in your browser's memory until you delete them.
  • Third-party cookies are not used on the Website.
  • Cookies are stored for a maximum of 25 months, although you can delete them earlier. See section 11 for information on how to do this.

§ 11. The impact of changing browser settings on the use of the Website

Changing your browser configuration to one that prevents or restricts the storage of cookies may result in restricted Website functionality. Deleting cookies during the provision of the service can lead to similar consequences. This means that some of our services will not be available without cookies.
